… has succeeded in setting the nation’s clock back 40 years. They call themselves ‘progressive’; however, common sense says that a forced return to the hate-mongering dissidence of the 60’s can hardly be construed as ’progress’.
This campaign has taken on a tone reminiscent of the one in ‘68. I had absolutely no use for the garbage spewed then and have even less for it now. While the Jane Fondas and Bernardine Dohrns of the time were chatting it up with the North Vietnamese government, my husband was in and out of LZ’s evacuating US casualties. While Huey Newton was busily ’storming’ the California legislature, US soldiers were storming Viet Cong hideouts in an effort to defend a nation and its people against the spreading malignancy of Communism. While Bill Ayers and his Weather Underground pals were gleefully planting bombs in Federal buildings, police stations, and university buildings, US soldiers were risking their lives to clear minefields from towns, villages, and countrysides. The hatred and discord sewn by these radicals, embraced by Obama as his friends today, was so profound that city streets resembled the Serengetti with hyenas moving in for the kill. Those are not images I care to see again in this country, yet the hint of their return is steadily emerging – compliments of the Far Left.
The Soros Party exalts such ’revolutionaries’ as heroes – they were misfits and cowards. Real people have progressed past Neanderthal behavior. Those who haven’t are the dog-and-pony show of today, headlined by a priest named Michael Pfleger who, like Jeremiah Wright, has set such a stellar example for young people to follow. I’m not impressed.
The Far Left used to be individuals and Democrats; however, Soros’ money has successfully manipulated them into a single homogenous entity with no character, no moral conscience, and no higher goal in life than the utter destruction of anything and anyone with whom they are at odds, regardless of cost to person or nation. A premier example of that is the garbage coming out of Trinity United Church of Christ, where the sacred Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit has been replaced by the unholy trinity of me, myself, and I – and the pulpit has been reduced to nothing more than a platform from which to disseminate hatred, racism, and degradation.
Obama and the Far Left have nothing of value to bring to the table of the United States. He himself offers no substantive experience, has exhibited no spine, and apparently has no moral convictions either when one considers the caliber of people he continues to ‘cling to’ as friends and mentors. He was so very quick to label legitimate questions concerning his wife’s unpatriotic remarks as “low class”, yet glossed over the latest despicable behavior coming out of his home church with his trademark flowery oratory. The only ‘low class’ behavior and commentary in evidence thus far can be directly attributed to the Obama campaign. From inception to date, every campaign other than his has been conducted with decorum and civility. That speaks volumes about what class really is … and who has it.
The Obama camp is composed of nothing more than a brood of left-wing vipers that have been handed a national stage from which to spew their venom. One dose of that trash is more than enough – I had mine in ‘68. Obama would not garner my vote if he were the last man standing. Thirty seconds of his associates and their diatribe is barely manageable. Anything more than that is intolerable.
