…just don’t get it – and haven’t gotten it for at least the past couple of years. Under Pelosi’s gavel, the sole focus of the Democrat-heavy House has been the bashing of George Bush at every opportunity. And if that opportunity didn’t present itself, Democrats created one. Pelosi and Harry Reid are like rabid dogs, frothing at the mouth every time the President’s name is mentioned, and the sum total of their Congressional legacy is abuse of position driven by personal hatred and agenda.
Like so many of their compadres, Pelosi and Reid have allowed their personal mantra to completely displace rational thought. GEORGE BUSH ISN’T RUNNING. Repeat: GEORGE BUSH ISN’T RUNNING. He isn’t running, he can’t run, end of story. Why then do Democrats continue, day after day, to mob together like a pack of vigilantes to draw fresh Bush blood? GEORGE BUSH ISN’T RUNNING. Day after day, week after week, story after story ad nauseum, it’s Bush this and Bush that – GEORGE BUSH ISN’T RUNNING. And the time, effort, and, yes, taxpayer dollars spent on the Democrats’ witch hunt can be counted as nothing but waste. You’ve paid their salaries. What have you gotten for it?
What will it take to satisfy Democrat bloodlust appetite? What is it that Pelosi, Reid and others want? GEORGE BUSH ISN’T RUNNING and will be out of office no matter what come the end of the year. So what’s the point of their day in, day out posturing? There is none.
This election isn’t about George Bush – and it’s not about John McCain or Barack Obama either. This election is about values – mainstream versus Far Left. If you believe in America’s foundational Christian principles, national sovereignty, individual independence, a strong military, the value of home and family and your right to defend it, you’ll vote for McCain. If on the other hand you want a fringe free-for-all where the boundaries of decency are continually extended or discarded altogether, where God’s commandments and sacraments are mocked, where your military’s the enemy and the enemy’s your new best friend, you’ll vote for Obama. George Bush’s name will not be on the ballot - he isn’t running.
