America used to be blessed with leaders that upheld and honored its mainstream values. Such is not the case today. Today’s Democrat powerbrokers are focused not on the strengthening of those values, but on their destruction. The following is submitted for your thoughtful consideration:
A pictorial memorial to America’s fallen soldiers, those men and women who voluntarily made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, has been set up literally in the halls of Congress. Nancy Pelosi, drawing on some ambiguous, non-applicable ‘rule’ regarding hallway display, is insisting the memorial be removed. I’m reminded here of remarks she made in a recent interview wherein she stated how important her position as Speaker is. However important the Speaker may believe she is, I submit that what’s really important here is the truth. The buildings housing this nation’s seat of government belong to the people, not to any elected official. Congress is not her house to do with as she pleases. Congress is mine, and yours, and I want those fallen in service to their country honored along with their families, not labeled a hallway hazard and discarded to some storage closet. The Far Left, subscribed to by Pelosi, Reid and others (including Obama), continues to forcibly inject its slime into every possible nook and cranny of our government, including the very hallways of its Congressional buildings.
Last night on FOX News’ “America’s Election Headquarters”, it was reported that Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), will be a featured speaker at the Democrats’ Interfaith Breakfast Sunday morning. Commentator E. D. Hill questioned the wisdom of such a selection given ISNA’s ties to Radical Islam and its designation by our government as an ‘unindicted co-conspirator’ in the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas. One of her guests, a Democratic strategist, stated that such an assertion was merely a ‘fear’ tactic attributable to the McCain campaign. Ms. Hill rightly identified that remark as FALSE based upon fact. The Investigative Project on Terrorism, and its Executive Director Steven Emerson, have conducted extensive research on this organization and two recent reports on their findings are linked below:

Sunday’s breakfast is not the first time the DNC has aligned itself with known terrorist sympathizers and/or supporters. Imam Husham Al-Hussainy, with reported links to pro-Hezebollah protests in Detroit, was the event speaker at the DNC’s Winter Meeting last year. Democrats, through ignorance, defiance or design, are providing carte blanche opportunity for ‘friends’ and front organizations of the Muslim Brotherhood to accomplish its self-stated goal of the destruction of America’s “miserable house” from within. Apparently the Far Left Machine controlling the party will not be satisfied until its has forcibly replaced our democracy with an Islamic theocracy. Every inroad provided to those with documented terrorist ties is one more step toward that end – and this, while our slain servicemen and women are maligned by the Speaker of the House.
Senator Obama can proclaim his patriotism and adherence to Christianity as loudly as he wants, as often as he wants. However, talk is cheap and I’m not buying. Those who willfully embrace Muslim ‘leaders’ and organizations that have been identified by our government as terrorist-linked are not patriots. Whether or not Obama has genuinely been converted from the agnostic that he was when he affiliated with Trinity to a true Christian believer is not for me to judge. That is between the Senator and the Lord Jesus Christ. However, what I will say is that his response to Pastor Rick Warren’s question of when life begins appeared to reflect the neutrality of an agnostic rather than the conviction of a born-again believer.
I am persuaded that beneath the shallow veneer of Barack Obama is a man without conviction. To date, I’ve seen nothing to indicate otherwise. My pastor has often remarked that if we, as people, fail to stand for something, we’ll fall for anything and I submit that the Senator’s inability to carve out and uphold a definitive position on any topic speaks to the truth of that statement. Swept along willy-nilly by ever-changing political winds, the Senator is a textbook example of the malleable, indecisive person we become without core beliefs and principles.
