If, at this juncture of the 2008 presidential campaign, you’re still trying to figure out just who Senator Barack Obama is and how a person of his notable lack of qualification ’ascended’ to Democrat candidate for president, you need look no further than Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC. It is DemocracyForAmerica.com, the secular progressive political action organization founded by Dean, that has put Obama on the map. The goal of this election isn’t to move America forward as Democrats would have you believe. Rather, the goal is a sharp turn to the Hard Left adhered to by Dean and his organization. That begins to explain why Hillary Clinton didn’t get the nomination - as well as why the most liberal politician in the Senate did. It begins to explain why Dean disenfranchised Clinton voters in Florida and Michigan. And it more than explains why Obama’s documented ties to radical extremists such as Wright, Farrakhan, Ayers, and Dohrn weren’t viewed as problematic. Indeed, those associations perfectly match what Dean was looking for – and only Obama could deliver them. Add MoveOn.org and Soros money to the mix and we begin to understand even more clearly the absoluteness of Dean’s intention to place his person in the White House.

This, as Democrats across the spectrum continually preach ’special interests’ as the singlemost evil currently in ’broken’ Washington. There is no clearer example of caving to special interests than the ones previously cited. Of particular concern to me is the ‘blackmail’ technique used against a legislator responsible for our national security. It’s hardly comforting to learn that decisions regarding the security of this country and its people are based on the contents of a newspaper ad. This is Dean and DFA at work.
It is Howard Dean who has injected terrorist sympathizers and/or supporters into the national arena. At last year’s DNC Winter Meeting, the person Dean invited to speak was Imam Husham Al-Hussainy, reportedly linked to pro-Hezbollah demonstrations in Detroit. It is Howard Dean’s Chief of Staff, Leah Daughtry and her Faith In Action team, who this year secured Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America, as the major speaker for the Democrats’ Interfaith Breakfast, part of Convention kickoff activities. Never mind that our government has named this organization as an unindicted co-conspirator in Dallas’ Holy Land Foundation trial. Recall that Muslim women were removed from an Obama photo-op. The reasons? Because their presence wouldn’t ‘play well’ with audiences and, of course, out of sight, out of mind. Don’t be deceived. Obama is the Howard Dean-DFA perfect storm. With Pakistanis, Syrians, black activist extremists, domestic terrorists, and Nation of Islam leaders counted as mentors and friends, a Socialist agenda, a dissident wife, and no exhibited solid core values, Obama is to Dean what the Autobahn is to Germany – the smoothest, quickest route to his ultimate destination – a White House controlled by the Hard Left. Given Dean’s control of both houses of Congress, consider what it means for you and the direction of this country to add the third, and most important, piece of the grouping to his collection. A vote for Obama provides the means for a complete takeover of our government by a single-entity, Radical Left organization – one which works against Law Enforcement by providing sanctuary for criminal illegal aliens, one which provides carte blanche welcome to subversive Muslim organizations, one which frees the criminal and imprisons the Border Guard, one which casts our Armed Forces as oppressors, and one which removes the cross from college chapels, takes Christ out of Christmas, trashes the Ten Commandments from public buildings, and demands that God be removed from our currency and Pledge of Allegiance to our nation’s flag, which is routinely desecrated. If collective America truly desires that degree of lawlessness, disorder, and moral decay, this country can no longer be counted among the civilized nations of the world.
