Security – for myself and my family. Webster defines security this way: the state or feeling of being free from fear, care, danger, etc.; safety or a sense of safety; freedom from doubt. That is what I expect from my president.
As an American citizen in a world increasingly hostile because of my nationality and Christian faith, I want to know that my president will protect and defend my country, myself and my family as the assault continues. I expect my president to deliver that freedom from doubt. I can not, and will not, settle for wondering if he will.
I want to know that my president fully supports and defends the Constitution of the United States and the Judeo-Christian principles upon which it was founded. I can not, and will not, settle for wondering if he does.
I want to know that my president firmly believes in and will support and defend America’s democratic form of government. I can not, and will not, settle for wondering if he will.
I want to know that my president fully recognizes, comprehends, and is prepared to act on national security threats to my country, both at home and abroad. I can not, and will not, settle for wondering if he does and will.
I want to know that my president possesses sound judgment and strength of character. I can not, and will not, settle for wondering if he does.
I expect my president to be trustworthy and forthright with the people of this country. Those are qualities I, my family, my friends, and my pastor possess and I can not and will not settle for less from my president.
Freedom from doubt – that’s what I expect from my president. In these uncertain and precarious times, both at home and across the globe, the last thing I need to wonder about is whether my president is for - or against – the country which is my home by birth.
Freedom from doubt – John McCain and Sarah Palin deliver that. It’s why they have my vote. Below are links to why Senator Obama doesn’t:

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.
- James Cone, A Black Theology of Liberation
This is the message preached from the pulpit at Obama’s home church, Trinity United Church of Christ. It is part and parcel at the core of Black Liberation theology and provides perfect insight into the sermons of Jeremiah Wright, his successor Otis Moss III, and the doctrine the Obamas subscribed to and embraced for over 20 years. The message speaks for itself.
