America used to be blessed with leaders that upheld and honored its mainstream values. Such is not the case today. Today’s Democrat powerbrokers are focused not on the strengthening of those values, but on their destruction.
A pictorial memorial to America’s fallen soldiers, those men and women who voluntarily made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, was recently set up in the literal halls of Congress. Speaker Pelosi, drawing on some ambiguous, non-applicable ‘rule’ regarding hallway display, insisted the memorial be removed. I’m reminded here of remarks she made in a recent interview wherein she stated how important her position as Speaker is. However important the Speaker may believe she is, I submit that what’s really important here is the truth. The buildings housing this nation’s seat of government belong to the people, not to any elected official. Congress is not her house to do with as she pleases. Congress is mine, and yours, and I want those fallen in service to their country honored along with their families, not labeled a hallway hazard and discarded to some storage closet. The Radical Left, subscribed to by Pelosi, Reid and others continues to forcibly inject its anti-military agenda into every possible nook and cranny of our government, including the very hallways of Congressional buildings.

During Convention actvities, FOX News’ “America’s Election Headquarters” reported that Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), was to be a featured speaker at the Democrats’ Interfaith Breakfast. Commentator E. D. Hill questioned the wisdom of such a selection given ISNA’s ties to Radical Islam and its designation by our government as an ‘unindicted co-conspirator’ in the Holy Land Foundation Federal Terrorism Trial in Dallas. One of her guests, a Democratic strategist, stated that such an assertion was merely a ‘fear’ tactic attributable to the McCain campaign. Ms. Hill rightly identified that remark as FALSE based upon fact. Sunday’s breakfast is not the first time the DNC has aligned itself with known terrorist sympathizers and/or supporters. Imam Husham Al-Hussainy, with reported links to pro-Hezebollah protests in Detroit, was the event speaker at the DNC’s Winter Meeting last year. Democrats, through ignorance, defiance or design, are providing carte blanche opportunity for ‘friends’ and front organizations of the Muslim Brotherhood to accomplish its self-stated goal of the destruction of America’s “miserable house” from within. Apparently the Radical Left Machine controlling the party will not be satisfied until its has forced proven enemies of this nation onto our people. Every inroad provided to those with documented terrorist ties is one more step toward that end – and this, while our slain servicemen and women are maligned by the Speaker of the House.
When the Liberty Bell was rung on the first Independence Day, a proclamation taken directly from the Bible was sent to all thirteen colonies: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” (Leviticus 25:10) The founding patriots who drafted and signed our Declaration of Independence that day acknowledged God as the Creator of Mankind as well as their seeking of Him as they pledged their “support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence.” They were real men, in a real place in real time who fully understood and acknowledged a power greater than themselves and actively sought His wisdom and guidance as they laid the foundation for a new nation, a foundation which has sustained us for 232 years.
At this writing, Evangelical Christians are being openly attacked, the Bible sought out for proclamation of a new nation’s liberty has been removed from Abraham Lincoln’s desk on display in our Capitol, and the relentless offensive continues in its quest to remove “In God We Trust” from all Congressional buildings and U. S. currency. All this before the Radical Left’s Puppet-in-Chief is sworn in. What comes after will not be any prettier. The goal of the New Democrat is America’s complete changeover from a Judeo-Christian capitalist nation to a socialized secular state. So committed to that goal was Howard Dean that he blackballed Hillary Clinton to float three Progressive candidates in an effort to facilitate its attainment: John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich, and Barack Obama. One stuck.
The siege against Mainstream America is real, well-financed, and growing uglier by the day. At stake? Nothing less than the very values upon which this republic was founded: independence, individual liberty, and faith in God. I submit that this day there is a choice to be made: stand up and fight for the soul of the nation – or stand down and watch it die.
